Woodcutter Barrel-Aged Gin

Woodcutter Barrel-Aged Gin is inspired by the native bush tracks and pine forests that surround Sandymount distillery, where the air carries notes of fresh pine and sweet, earthy flowers.

This gin begins its life as a classic dry gin before being rested for around three months in Otago Pinot Noir french oak barrels. During this time, the vibrant citrus and aromatic pine flavours of the gin blend with the spice and red-fruit character of the Pinot Noir embedded in the barrels. The french oak also provides buttery smooth caramel notes with hints of vanilla. 

Brilliantly balanced and golden in hue, Woodcutter Barrel-Aged Gin delivers subtle depth, fragrant complexity, and a smooth, lingering finish.
